It's tempting not to leave a review for this place as I'd rather other people didn't discover it. That's part of the charm of Anjanaas- it feels like you've stumbled on a fantastic secret. The food is possibly the best Southern Indian food I've tasted in London. The range of starters and mains means I try something different each time I visit .As a vegetarian the plethora of choices match those available for the meat eaters. But it's the standard of food that keeps bringing me back. Homemade goodness. I'm surprised that this very cheap eatery has been able to stay open and charge less than £4 for a main course. This isn't run of the mill dining- this is an explosion of taste and a fantastic chef at work with quality produce. The waiters are unbelievably attentive and well, just lovely. Stepping inside, feels like you've joined part of a small family.
I can't recommend this place highly enough, visit and you won't be disappointed.
