About The Cartoon Art Trust Cartoon Museum
The Cartoon Art Trust Cartoon Museum is situated at no. 35, Little Russell Street, London. Founded in the year 1988, it showcases a vast collection of British cartoons and caricatures with an in house library and many galleries.
The main aim of the Cartoon Art Trust Cartoon Museum is to preserve the past to present day British and international cartoons, animations, caricatures and comics for the education, enjoyment and research. It holds over 1,500 cartoons, caricatures and comics and over 700 comic drawings along with over 5,000 books and 6,000 comics in its library. Visiting this museum would definitely bring you out with smiles.
The museum is open from 10.30am-5.30pm from Tuesdays to Saturdays and from 12.00-5.30pm on Sundays. The library is open from 10.30-13.30 on Wednesdays or you could visit it by making a prior appointment. The ground floor is fully equipped with facilities for the persons with disabilities. Tickets are priced from £5.50 downwards.
