About Natural History Museum
Situated at the Cromwell Road, London, the Natural History Museum; a world-renowned research centre is deemed to be one of the largest three museums in the block! It features exclusive specimens of life and earth sciences, holding over seventy million items. Being established in 1881 and ranked the 4th museum nationally, these items hold a great historical and scientific value!
The museum comprises of five main categories; Entomology, Botany, Palaeontology, Mineralogy and Zoology. Most importantly, this holds specimens collected by Darwin, ornate architecture and dinosaur skeletons, hence making this quite a special place, a MUST VISIT! Its library consists of valuable books, manuscripts, journals etc. that could be accessed only through appointments. There are also fun activities like sleepovers for your kids, exhibitions, etc. It also has shops from which you could buy unique souvenirs.
It is opened every day from 10.00-17.50, but closed on 24th-26th December. Entry for everyone is free, unless visiting the temporary exhibitions held onsite.
