About Royal Academy of Arts

The Royal Academy of Arts initially founded by the King George III in 1768 is based in Piccadilly, London. It is an institution run by the famous artists and architects with the main view of promoting enjoyment, recreation and creation of art by means of holding exhibitions, debates and talks and art education.  

The Academy has a cafe which allows the guests to go and have a light snack in. It definitely would help you replenish the spent energy on walking around and enjoying a unique array of arts. This place is accessible to persons with disabilities, with the necessary facilities provided.

The ticket prices vary for each exhibition. Hence, it would be wise to check the Royal Academy of Arts website before making plans. The Academy is open from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm every day except Friday and 10.00 am to 10.00 pm on Fridays. There are however free guided tours at 1.00pm Tuesday, 1.00 pm and 3.00 pm from Wednesday to Friday and at 11.30 am on Saturdays.
