About Kids Zone at National Army Museum

Situated on the Royal Hospital Road, Chelsea, London; Kid's Zone at the National Army Museum is the perfect stop for a day out for the kids. It not only gives the kids the information on history, but also takes them to an imaginative world that they are drawn into learning more of history, indeed allowing them to enthusiastically learn about their roots!

The National Army Museum tells you everything about ‘The Army” including exploring the lives of those who served immaculately in making the world the place it is today, winning through the inhuman bloodsheds and injustices. It also provides information on the histories of the wars the British Army fought.

The Kid's Zone at National Army Museum provides the kids with a very fun and interactive experience on the activities of the Army. There is a castle fortress where the kids can change into army uniforms, go rock climbing, zoom down slides and crawl through tunnels just like the soldiers. Kids, when tired playing the soldier, they can settle to read books on the reading tree or draw art in the art section. There is also a train set and kitchen that involves preparing meals for the army. It is designed for kids below 10 and the youngest visitors are also provided with a soft play area.

The museum is open from 10.00 am to 5.30 pm daily throughout the year except on 24th – 26th December, 1st January, Good Friday and early May bank holiday. The admission to the museum is free.
