About Diana Memorial Playground

The Diana Memorial Playground was built echoing the story of Peter Pan, in memory of the Princess of Wales, Princess Diana. She was one person who admired childhood limitlessly. Supposing you want your kids to have a splendid time, lost in their innocent worlds of imagination, adventure and fascination, then, the best place to let the natural play set in would be at the Diana Memorial Playground!

Built just after the death of Princess Diana, facing her ex-residence at the Kensington Palace, this playground has cost about £1.7 million. This is built in such a way that all children are felt equal irrespective of their physical characteristics, and also highlighting that every child on their own has a world of imagination that is very unique and special. The specialty in this playground is that, it not just paves way for the kids to soar in their magical space, but also allows them to be developed physically, socially, educationally and creatively.

The most attractive part is the enormous wooden pirate ship in the centrepiece of the playground with a beach around it. There are teepees, a Red Indian camp, a rock with a Mermaid tail imprint, a musical garden and plenty of seating provided for relaxing for the parents while their kids play. Of course, this playground has much nature embedded into it, letting the children freely drift into their mesmerizing worlds.

It is generally open from 10.45am-3.45pm daily, but it will be open longer depending on the season. Admission is free for kids up to 12 years and to parents accompanying them.

This would definitely be a memorable treat for your kids that would make its way to their happiest memories of childhood!
